Read: Luke 24:13-35
Introduction: After Jesus’ resurrection, two of His disciples were walking on the road to Emmaus when they encountered a stranger who they didn’t realize was Jesus. As they walked and talked with Him, He explained how the Scriptures pointed to His death and resurrection. It wasn’t until they sat down to eat with Him and He broke bread that they recognized Him. This story reminds us that Jesus is always with us, even when we don’t recognize Him.
