Event Details
Come with c|Life YTH on our mission trip to Harlingen, Texas. We will partner with Texans on Mission to contribute to community projects, such as building repair, sports camp, vacation Bible school, and feeding the homeless. Our goal is to serve the community, build up the local church and share the message of Jesus. Accommodations will be provided by Cone Oasis Baptist Camp in La Feria. Students will get to visit Padre Island on Wednesday, July 1 before heading back home on Thursday.
Where We’re Going:
Harlingen, TX
Where We’re Staying:
Cone Oasis Baptist Camp
Students and leaders will stay on-site at the camp for the week.
What We’ll Be Doing:
Our students will be actively serving the community in several ways, including:
Hosting evangelism events
Leading VBS for kids
Serving at a local homeless center
Running a sports camp
Community work projects (painting, sheetrock, and other hands-on projects)
This will be a week focused on sharing the Gospel, serving practically, and helping students grow in leadership and compassion. We will spend a few hours in the Padre Island area for fun on Wednesday before we leave.
Transportation:
We will be traveling in rented 15-passenger vans driven by approved adult leaders.
Meals:
Meals will be provided at Cone Oasis Baptist Camp. During ministry days, students will pack sack lunches to take with them while serving in the community.
Supervision & Leadership:
Our youth staff, along with vetted adult leaders, will be traveling with and serving alongside the students all week. Adults will be present in all ministry settings and staying on campus with students to ensure both safety and spiritual leadership throughout the trip.
Cost:
Total cost is $525, but you can register for a deposit of $100. The $525 fee covers all transportation, food, housing, and supplies. After paying the deposit you will have access to a personal link that your student can share with friends and family who may want to donate to their trip. Any donation given via this link is tax deductible.
Our heart for this trip is not just that students serve, but that they experience God working through them. Mission trips often become defining moments where students grow in confidence, compassion, and boldness in their faith.” with a due date of March 6 2026.
