How to Use Text Giving with OnlineGiving.org

Text giving offers a quick and easy way to support c|Life from anywhere at any time, directly from your mobile phone. Here’s how to get started:

1. Sign Up for Text Giving

To start, simply text the amount you wish to donate to (802) 855-5855. For example, for a one-time contribution of $50, you can simply send the amount:

• $50 (with dollar sign)
• 50 (without dollar sign)

The first time you give, you will receive a link to complete your registration through your phone’s web browser. After registering, your phone number will be linked to your giving profile for easier future donations.

2. Format Your Text Message

You can designate your gift to specific funds by including keywords. Here’s how to structure your message with a keyword:

• $50 Missions
• Missions $50
• 50 Building

We are currently using the following keywords:

• More (Abundantly More campaign)
• Forney (Forney Campus)
• Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale Campus)
• Kaufman (Kaufman Campus)
• Rockwall (Rockwall Campus)
• Canton (Canton Campus)
• Kaufman Esp (c|Life en Español – Kaufman))
• Online (Online Campus)

3. Setting Up Recurring Donations

If you’d like to make recurring donations easily, just include a frequency keyword in your text:

• Weekly: Text Give $100 Weekly to donate $100 every week.
• Monthly: Text Give $100 Monthly for a monthly donation.
• Biweekly (every two weeks): Use Give $100 Biweekly.
• Twice a Month: Text Give $100 Twice Monthly to split your gift into two installments each month.

4. Updating Your Donation Profile

If you need to change your payment method or preferred campus, simply text PROFILE to the same number. You will receive a link to update your details directly.
