Our main focus will involve collaborating with our ministry partners and their church members. We might provide ministry training and facilitate spiritual development for pastors and church members. Our ministry partners would also like us to contribute to business and education training for community members.
Our partners are believers who live in South Asia and are dedicated to sharing the gospel in their communities. They are also passionate about building up local church leaders and pastors in South Asia.
Expect encounters with warm, welcoming locals in both impoverished and thriving areas. People are familiar with Americans, and are generally kind, but situational awareness is vital. The country offers a mix of first-world and third-world experiences.
Anticipate flavorful meals featuring curry, chicken, naan bread, and chicken tikka, with eggs available for breakfast. Feel free to bring your own snacks if desired. Accommodations will be in local hotels across various cities, equipped with A/C, hot water, and other amenities. Don't forget plug converters for your convenience.
Community Life Church prioritizes participants' safety. We prohibit travel to high-risk areas and closely monitor potential threats. Non-compliance may lead to early departure at the participant's cost.

Pre-trip meetings, devotionals, and readings have a spiritual focus, equipping team members for the trip. These sessions will emphasize your identity in Christ, sharing the Gospel through your personal story, and deepening your relationship with Christ. Embrace the opportunity to share the Gospel during the trip. After the work, we'll reflect on what the Lord accomplished and taught you.
Do I need to get any vaccines? Please consult with your doctor to ensure you are up to date on all routine vaccines and follow any guidelines related to your specific health needs. How much spending money should I bring? Personal preference! You will be responsible to pay for souvenirs, food in the airport, and food while out on excursions or at a market.
What is the travel itinerary? Flight information will be released as soon as flights are booked. Anyone who is registered will be notified immediately if there are any necessary date changes due to flights.
What is the daily itinerary while in country? Daily itineraries will be finalized closer to the trip date and will be provided at one of the pre-trip meetings.
What should I pack? Don't worry! Packing lists of required/recommended items will be provided prior to your trip.
Can you give me some fundraising tips? Yes! We understand this is a big commitment and we are here to help. We will provide tips and guidance after you have completed the registration process. Our biggest request is that you communicate with us early and often and at the first sign you may not be able to meet a funding milestone.
