Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
— Isaiah 41:10 ESV

For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
— 1 John 5:4 ESV

God is always at work. Regardless of the season or circumstance, God is with us and will see us through. In him, we will always see a victory. If we are seeking the Lord, each day is really to be our best day, so why wouldn’t this be our best year yet? It’s all about perspective. Does the path define us, or do we choose to define the path? God never stops being God, but when I fail to trust him more than anything else, when I choose to follow steps he has not placed, I spiral away from his calling and fail to find purpose, much less joy, in the journey.

Don’t be afraid, for the Lord will go before you and will be with you; he will not fail nor forsake you.
— Deuteronomy 31:8 TLB

Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.
— Psalm 23:4 TPT

Our world is absolutely out of control, but I don’t live in fear. I live knowing and claiming that God is God. I push through, regardless of the mayhem that might appear, God will use it for his plan and his glory. I have to choose to get out of my own way. I will likely have call out evil daily (if not more often) and remind Satan that he has no power over me! The enemy will put forth his best effort, but I cling to and walk in the truth that I am a child of God. He is greater! I have to remember that God will allow me to be stretched and challenged to grow me to be even stronger in him. If I just hold on, whether it be at the end of each day or a crazy time, I can see what God brought me through and just maybe a glimpse of what he is creating me to be.

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
— Isaiah 30:21 NIV

Where I am is where God wants me, but I will never know his purpose and intention for the season and circumstance if I am not seeking him and clinging to all that I know is true.
