Support and Recovery

We understand.

Life can be painful at times. We're here to help. One of the things we have come to realize about ourselves is our need for godly counsel. There is a chance that you are visiting our site hoping to find someone to talk to about a specific question you have about scripture or life in general. We would love to hear from you, and you can connect to one of our ministry leaders by calling the church office at 972-564-5433 or by sending us an e-mail to .

We also understand you may be visiting our site hoping to find some more intensive counsel and help in overcoming a very difficult situation. Let us say in advance, thank you for trusting us to help guide you through the journey to recovery. Whether you are dealing with an addiction, struggling to deal with grief, raising a rebellious child or sorting through a difficult marriage, we believe God can and wants to bring healing.

Journey Groups Logo

We invite you to join us on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at the c|Life Sunnyvale campus or Thursdays at 7 p.m. at the c|Life Forney campus. Childcare is available at both locations, starting at 6:45 p.m.

Opportunities to Serve

Journey Groups is a great place to grow, but it's also a great place to serve! We’re looking for Christ-followers who are growing in faith, who love people, who are willing to learn, and are able to set aside differences and desires to see all people made whole by God. Check out the list below for some of the unique service opportunities that Journey Groups has to offer!

Campus Coordinator
This person assists the Journey Groups director in campus setup, room assignments, information dissemination and hosting duties. They also coordinate other Journey Groups personnel on their assigned campus. Good organizational skills required.

Group Facilitators
We’re looking for growing believers who have a heart for serving others in the areas of divorce care, divorce care for kids, grief, women’s issues, men’s issues, recovery, or another area of passion. Training is provided.

Greeters
These are warm, caring people who can come early and stand near the door to welcome those who come to groups.

Materials Manager
This position may be by campus or over all campuses. This person makes sure there are enough books for each group and staffs a table for book purchases on Journey Groups nights.

Technical Support
This person sets up and shuts down all technical equipment used during large group time, including lights, audio and slides. Don’t worry, we can train you.

Meal Team
For each week’s facilitator meal, these people place the order, pick it up (or meet delivery person), set up and clean up. This could be one person per campus or multiple people at each campus.

Mentors
Mentoring is for growing believers who can commit to walking for a season with a person who is struggling. Mentoring is a one-on-one relationship and can take place outside of regular group times. Training is provided.

ReEngage Coordinator
This person gathers information from new couples as they attend ReEngage for the first time, tracks attendance and helps with moving couples into closed groups. This is largely administrative in nature, and training will be provided.

Speaker Coordinator
This person is in charge of scheduling and following up with speakers and musicians for large group time each week. This includes pre-reading testimonies and offering suggestions when necessary.
