Support and Recovery

We understand.

Life can be painful at times. We're here to help. One of the things we have come to realize about ourselves is our need for godly counsel. There is a chance that you are visiting our site hoping to find someone to talk to about a specific question you have about scripture or life in general. We would love to hear from you, and you can connect to one of our ministry leaders by calling the church office at 972-564-5433 or by sending us an e-mail to .

We also understand you may be visiting our site hoping to find some more intensive counsel and help in overcoming a very difficult situation. Let us say in advance, thank you for trusting us to help guide you through the journey to recovery. Whether you are dealing with an addiction, struggling to deal with grief, raising a rebellious child or sorting through a difficult marriage, we believe God can and wants to bring healing.

Journey Groups

Journey Groups are safe and confidential meetings that exist to provide a place for anyone who is hurting, struggling or in pain to find healing, support and redemption through community and application of the truth found in scripture.

We invite you to join us on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at the c|Life Sunnyvale campus or Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. at the c|Life Forney campus.

• To empower group members to actively participate with God in healing the damage of sexually abusive experiences.
• To help group members recognize negative thoughts and beliefs and explore biblical alternatives to untruths they have believed about themselves.
• To provide ongoing support and help for group members.

Hope Mommies
9-week group, beginning Mar. 14

The purpose of the Hope Mommies group is to come alongside moms and families who have experienced infant loss, bringing comfort, encouragement, companionship and hope as they continue to walk this side of eternity without their beloved son or daughter. In this group, we will be studying the book Anchored by Erin Cushman. Anchored invites you to grieve in an honest and faith-filled way. With personal stories, seasoned insight and gentle questions, you are invited to lay your deepest hurt at the foot of the cross and allow God to anchor your brokenness.

Have you or someone you know been touched by infant loss? This book is written to give biblical hope and encouragement to the grieving heart. As you study topics such as God’s character, heaven, and how to relate to others through the lens of grief, you will discover that God’s Word is not silent. He steps in to your brokenness and will give truth, hope and comfort through Jesus Christ.

Whatever your story may be, we hope that, through these pages, you will find restoration and healing as you allow God to anchor your heart to his unfailing love for you and your baby.
