  • An estimated 143 million of the world's children are orphaned by one or both parents.
  • In Central and Eastern Europe alone, almost 1.5 million children live in public care.
  • The number of children orphaned by HIV/AIDS is expected to jump to more than 25 million. In 12 African countries, projections show that orphans comprise at least 15 percent of all children under 15 years of age.
  • Over 16,000 Texas children were removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect in 2010.
  • Over 11,000 Texas children in foster care are waiting to be adopted.

These numbers are staggering, and at c|Life, we believe that it is the responsibility of all Christians to make a difference in the lives of these children. Whether you are interested in becoming a Foster or Adoptive parent, interested in being a desperately needed support to these families, or are interested in the many forms of orphan care, the FAMily ministry exists to be a support and source of information to you!

CASA

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteers are appointed by a judge to discover the best possible outcome for an abused or neglected child’s future. It is the goal of the CASA volunteer that every one of these children is in a safe, permanent home and has hope for a better life.

Vision

Our vision is to connect families interested in foster care and adoption to appropriate child placing agencies and to equip others to rally around these families and provide ongoing support to them.
