What does membership mean?
In general, church membership means that a person identifies with the body of Christ through the ministry of a particular church. Membership in c|Life is a commitment to growing in relationship with and serving the Lord Jesus Christ in unity with other members of c|Life.
Why is membership important?
Two words capture the importance of membership: accountability and commitment. Commitment means that the expectations of c|Life are a priority in your lifestyle and ministry. These expectations include:
Accountability means entrusting others (other c|Life members) to hold you accountable to living out the commitments of membership. This includes both lifestyle and ministry commitments.
c|Life has implemented a personalized membership “class” through a one-on-one meeting with a Navigator (a member of c|Life who is equipped mentor potential members in the steps to membership).
You can indicate that you are interested in membership and/or begin the membership process in one of the three ways:
A c|Life staff member will contact you within 48 hours to answer any of your questions or assist you with a spiritual decision. A Navigator will then contact you to schedule a convenient time and place to meet with you (and your family). The Navigator will take you through the steps to membership at your own pace – taking time to explain expectations and to answer your questions about membership.
Once all the steps for membership are completed, you are ready to grow and serve through membership at c|Life! If you have any questions about joining c|Life please contact us at 972.564.LIFE or at info@clifec.com
