DUE TO EXPECTED BAD WEATHER ON APRIL 13, THE MICAH HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2019.
It’s time for the 23rd Annual Micah! Every dollar raised from this memorial golf tournament goes toward providing scholarships for students who would like to attend preteen camp and youth camp.
The Micah is open to golfers of all skill levels, and there are handicapped and non-handicapped brackets so that everyone has a chance of walking away with a prize! The Micah also features a silent auction with some great items, like rounds of golf, hotel and restaurant gift cards and a variety of other goods and services. So bring your checks, cash or credit cards in case you find something that you can’t live without!
The Micah was established in 1996 in memory of Micah Johnson, who was tragically killed in an automobile accident on his way to church in 1995. As a young pillar of the community, Micah not only volunteered his time teaching and fostering the self-esteem of youth in church, he also served as the commissioner of Baseball, Inc. and as a positive role model. Micah made an incredible impact on the lives of many area youth, and it is through this tournament that his legacy lives on.
We will kickoff the Micah with a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start. The $90 entry fee includes lunch, dinner, range balls, golf, a goodie bag and awesome winners’ prizes!
Registration for golfers is currently closed.
